Join us for a Christmas event giving children the opportunity to experience the real meaning of Christmas through experiencing the Journey to Bethlehem.  After dressing in Biblical cloaks, participants will join caravans headed to Bethlehem. Here they interact with Mary and Joseph on the road from Nazareth, Shepherds in a field under a starry sky, Wise Men planning their trip, and Simeon and Anna expectantly waiting at the Temple in Jerusalem. All these characters then connect together to present an exciting Nativity drama full of truth and awe.

We welcome students ages 4 and up. Children ages 4–7 start in our Mighty Kids program, which prepares them physically and socially for Traditional Taekwondo. Traditional classes are open to all ages 7+ (or once a Mighty Kid is invited to transition). 

All classes meet on Tuesdays at Imago Dei Church, 9200 Strickland Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615:

• 5:00–6:00 PM: All Belts and Mighty Kids
• 6:00–7:00 PM: All Belts and Mighty Kids
• 7:10–8:00 PM: Forms Class, Technique Class, Sparring Class
• 8:00–9:00 PM: Upper Ranks & Black Belts 

 Taekwondo is a year-round activity with no separate "seasons." 

Simply attend class! After the first two weeks, once your family has decided to continue, we'll order your uniform.

Tuition is $35/month for individuals or $45/month for an entire family, due the first Tuesday of each month. Checks should be made payable to Victory Taekwondo (or use Bill Pay — see office for details). Tuition is expected every month, even if you miss classes that month. Arrangements can be made in advance for extended leave.

Yes. If you need an extended break (3+ months), we can pause your account — just email VictoryTKDinfo@gmail.com. The same applies if you wish to withdraw. 

Yes — testing costs $20 per person, payable by check to Victory TKD (memo: "Testing") on the day of testing. Students must be current on tuition and other fees by the Tuesday before their testing date to be eligible. 

No — there is no separate registration fee. You'll pay monthly tuition, and a one-time uniform cost once you decide to continue.  

Requirements include demonstrating Taekwondo techniques for the rank, a 150-word essay (required 8th gup and up), 2 hours of Church/Community Service, a signed Intention to Promote form (for school-age students), and memorized scripture verses (cumulative from previous ranks). 

Yes. Student uniforms cost $35-$45 and must be purchased as a top-and-bottom set.  Orders are typically placed the 2nd or 3rd week of class for new students.  

No — church membership is not required to enroll. Victory Taekwondo is open to all families regardless of faith or church affiliation. That said, the program is rooted in Christian teaching, and scripture memorization is part of the belt testing requirements at every rank. 

New students begin at 10th Gup (White Belt) and progress through 9th Gup up to 1st Gup, then Black Belt (1st–4th Dan and beyond). Each rank has a minimum time-in-grade requirement (generally 3–6 months and 20–48 hours of class), though many students need more than the minimum to be ready. 

Canceled classes, testing changes, and events are announced through the Victory-TKD-Raleigh Google Group. Sign-up instructions are provided during enrollment.

Come ready to learn Kicks, Punches, Board Breaking, Swords and Taekwondo techniques. Victory Black Belt Instructors and Senior Students will be teaching each day. 

Most importantly, come join us as we focus on God's Word and His Gospel Message. We’ll be learning about the importance of choosing to follow God's way in each of our lives through skits, instructions, and testimonials. 

We'll have the best kind of fun as we learn to Remember the Truth!

Campers will be divided into groups by age and skill level.

Each day will include:

  Rotating High Energy      

• Taekwondo Stations
• Welcome / Bible Verse Review
• Taekwondo Skills
• Bible Time
• Snack
• Class with Obstacle Courses, Swords, Extreme Taekwondo, or Board Breaking Preparation
• Closing - Bible Application

Mighty Kids ages 4-7 at 9:00-11:45 am

Students ages 7-13 at 5:30-8:30 pm

Showcases for Family and Friends will be:

• Friday, at 11:30 am for the Mighty Kids, and
• Friday, 8:15 pm for the Evening Camp.

Every Camper breaks a board!!

Cost is $ / camper, which includes T-shirt and Taekwondo pants. $ is the family maximum (3 or more children). Full and partial scholarships are available, just let us know by emailing VictoryTKDinfo@gmail.com
